Caring for the vulnerable should never cease, especially in uncertain times.
Singapore has united to care for the vulnerable individuals and families affected by COVID-19. Just as generous donations to The Courage Fund has allowed us to provide relief to frontline workers and families affected by COVID-19, our social service agencies also need support to enable them to continue to provide critical social services to vulnerable individuals, families and communities, in the face of this challenge.
To do this, the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) has set up The Invictus Fund, which will channel donations to social service agencies that deliver critical services to vulnerable groups in our community.
Where Will Your Donations Go?
Donations* will go towards enabling our social service agencies to continue providing critical social services. With your support, the social service agencies can maintain their operations, adopt technology and other business continuity initiatives to continue serving their users, and emerge stronger through this period.
In addition to financial support, NCSS is also working closely with the social service agencies to help them with business continuity and integration of technology into their operations and service delivery, to ensure access to critical social services continue to be available, especially to those who need it.
How we respond in these difficult times and support one another, especially the vulnerable, is testament to how resilient we are as a nation. Let us continue to be united and we will overcome this challenge together.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all supporters for your generous contributions. Together, we can enable social service agencies to continue to deliver critical services to the vulnerable during COVID-19.
More details on The Invictus Fund will be made available soon. For further queries, please contact us at NCSS_comchest@ncss.gov.sg.
*Donations received for The Invictus Fund will come under the NCSS Charitable Fund, which is an Institution of Public Character (IPC) under the Charities Act (Chapter 37) and comprises all the charitable activities of NCSS, including the Community Chest.
