Community Chest Fú Dài 2018

Commmunity Chest Fú Dài 2018 was a true demonstration of the community coming together to care for the community. Into its fifth run, Community Chest Fú Dài has grown from strength to strength over the years. With the unwavering support of our partners, we have doubled the number of volunteers from about 1,000 back in 2014 to over 2,000 joining us! This has enabled us to pack more than 6,000 Fú Dàis for the seniors and families in need. Funds raised from the event will also go towards supporting about 80 social service organisations under the care of #ComChest, enabling their social service users to live dignified and fulfilling lives.

Held at Big Box Singapore over two days, Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for Social and Family Development, led the packing and delivery of Fú Dài to families in need on 2 February, while Ms Grace Fu, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, will spent time preparing a reunion meal with vulnerable seniors on 3 February.

Thank you to each and every one of our corporate partners, donors and volunteers contributed their time and resources to make this event a success!
